A few cities pay more than $18 an hour, including west hollywood, berkeley and san francisco. The rest of the state will bump up.

As part of the fiscal year 2024 budget, governor hochul secured an agreement to increase the state’s minimum wage through 2026, with indexing to inflation.
Beginning In The New Year, The Minimum Wage In New York City, Long Island, And Westchester County Will Be $16 Per Hour.
The increase is calculated annually.
